Morio Agata was born at Hokkaido in Japan, Sep. 12, 1948.
He made his debut with "Sekishoku elegy" from Bellwood(king record) in 1972.
For a fork lock or the hippie movement that are American contemporary
in those days he came under a strong influence.
However, he did not stay under the influence.
He created the music world full of the originality to remind of and
romantic culture of the Taisho or the Showa in Japan

1977 beginning production "Eien no Engoku"
He formed "virgin VS" 1980s.
He introduced himself as an A-ji(Age)
"Hoshizora Cycling" that became the TV ending theme of animated cartoon "UruseiYatsura" released
1987 Original Tango Album "Jaguar of Bandneon" released
1990 He enlarges the field of vision to world music
He formed "Raizo". album "Raizo sanjo" released
He performs various plan live broadcasting such as planetarium concert "planets Arbent",
While filmmaking or writing activity diverge into many branches,

Oct. 2009, the documentary film "Agata Morio yaya Deluxe" that recorded that concert started a theater exhibition
